The Post Stampede brings an opportunity to local 4-H and FFA Clubs to win a grant by way of a calf scramble during the Post Stampede Rodeo.
4-H Advisors and FFA Teachers/Advisor are invited to enter their two-person teams in this event.
WHO CAN ENTER A TWO PERSON TEAM?
Any 4-H or FFA Member who is an incoming Freshman to Senior.
COMPETITION RULES
A circle will be drawn in the arena.
All teams must begin inside the circle with their halters.
Calves will be released into the arena.
When the announcer says “GO”, teams will catch a calf, and apply one halter to the calf.
The team must lead the calf to the winner circle.
The calf’s full body must be lead into the circle, along with both team members.
The first team that completes the task will be declared the winner.
HOW TO ENTER:
Entries open on Monday August 7th, 2023 at 7:00am and close on Tuesday August 8th, 2023 at 5:00pm.
